Hi! I’m Denyse and have been married for five years to my best friend and travel partner, Joshua. We’re a couple of 30-somethings in the DC metro area who love delicious food, craft cocktails, nice aesthetics and, most importantly, GOOD VIBES. Whenever we find places that check those boxes, we can’t wait to share them.
When we’re not discovering new spots in DC, we love traveling and exploring different cities. We started sharing our DC outings and travels on social media and friends started asking us, “What was that place you went to…?” I began sharing more of our recommendations and curating city guides and itineraries for friends who were traveling to places we had visited.
After a while, I realized I wanted to create a different outlet where we could share the places we went to with more people and so, this blog was born. I hope this space inspires you to try a new place here in DC, travel to a different city, or better yet — become a tourist in your own city and share the amazing places you discover with us, too.
